October 26, 2007, New York - Fresh off of New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, there could not be a more stimulating time to launch Mick Margo Online. With so much inspiration from the Spring 2008 collections, we are excited to fill the entire site with the most relevant and interesting designers and fashion news we can find.
“We” are Nadine Ferber and Cary Weekes, two New York girls with a love of fashion and particularly clothes that are more special than most. Nadine has owned the Mick Margo brick and mortar store for two years, while Cary was honing her talents as a buyer for Zoe Brooklyn. In June 2007, we decided to join forces to launch a Mick Margo website with an emerging designer focus and editorial content.
We view this space as your resource for the most up to date trends and designers that the fashion world has to offer. We promise to give you a first hand account of what we see at the shows and keep you up to date on all sorts of New York goings-on, from bars and restaurants to art and films. And we invite you to contribute as well. If you see someone on the street with an amazing blazer, take a picture and send it in and let us know what drew you to it. If you find a great new designer, let us know about them. Send us your articles, pictures, anything. Whatever it is you find innovative, we want to know. We are excited to begin this journey with you and hope this will be your first of many visits to the site.
